I first read the books by Dr. Mittleider when I was in Florida looking for a way to grow vegetables in an area that was challenged by sand. He spent a great deal of his career traveling to third world countries teaching them how to grow food for themselves in the worse conditions. Today I use his raised bed system and love it. Not only is it economical but very easy to do.

This year/season we will be growing all kinds of fresh natural produce. We don’t use pesticides and most fertilizers are organic.  I do admit that I use miracle Gro a few times. Everything else is organic.

If you are interested in produce during the season please contact us using the form. We are seeking customers interested in weekly or bi-weekly pick-ups. We haven’t worked out all the details, however we are taking this year to figure out a few things and looking for a handful of steady customers that want a great deal and can pick up out at the farm. I have a bunch of citrus and tropical fruit trees for sale that I brought up from Florida a few years ago. They are taking up way too much room in the greenhouse so I am looking to sell some. These can all be grown in containers and brought indoors when it gets too cold. I have lemons, limes, oranges and grapefruit. I also have mango, avacado and a few other tropicals.
