Below is my personal garden. I use raised beds and what is known as intensive gardening. Although I have a greenhouse I can easily grow 3 seasons using raised beds. The watering is on a timer and automatic. If you’d like to arrange a consultation to set up your own garden, chickens, worms, whatever! for your family just email me.
Additionally please check my farm blog www.farmgoddess.com and subscribe for videos and updates on farming and gardening.
Just a few video clip of the farm & some of the stuff that goes on around here. This video is about 4 min. It includes a picture of my handsome rooster Cletus and a few others that run loose. My pet pigs, Elmer and lilly, talking to me, the inside of my barn which also shows the chicken coop we made for laying hens. That coop has a totally enclosed outside area. This way I don’t have to hunt all over the yard for eggs. You’ll also see an old smoke house that has been here a long time and my large greenhouse. See video link below…
This is a video of the farm in winter. It’s not as pretty or lush as it is in summer.
We are not using all of our acreage and we do have some land for sale. We are seeking other eco friendly, organic farmers and people who would like to live consciously and sustainable.
Living and working on a farm is dirty work. In fact from 7am until 6pm we’re just a group of dirty farm girls.
Meet Meredith my new helper. Mer is 11 years old and I guess she is my great niece? Well one thing for sure, she’s my little buddy and during the summer she cleans the dog rooms, takes dogs for walks & keeps the plants and trees in the greenhouse from burning up in the summer. She’s an excellent helper and she loves dogs too!
Left to right : My nephew Shane walking Avery one of our boarders, front porch, the barn in winter, hens everywhere and the pig pen, the barn in summer.
