Hi! My name is Elle and I’m looking for a home. I’m currently living with a nice family who has taken me in with the hopes of finding me a loving family. I turned one in February and I spent the first year of my life living in a small cage that was barely large enough for me to stretch out in. I was rarely let out and didn’t get consistent food or water. It was miserable and so lonely living in that cage. My leg muscles were not fully developed because I never got any exercise and I was really skinny. When I arrived at my foster home on the first day, I ran around in their backyard for forty-five minutes because I was so excited to stretch my legs and run free. My previous owner always said I was too energetic, but that’s because she never let me out of my cage so when I did get out, I was really excited. After hearing my story, my current foster home decided to take me in because I was headed for the pound. My irresponsible owner was moving and didn’t want to take me with her – thank God she didn’t! I came from the pound so I remember what a scary place it is and I’m so grateful I didn’t end up there again.

These two cute little black kittens are part of a litter needing homes. Although they were born wild they are very friendly. We have others that have been neutered. Kittens make excellent buddies for certain dogs. Dogs and cats can get a long great and be very playful. Its important to make sure your dog is not aggressive towards any animal. From time to time I get calls asking if we sell dogs. I don’t have anything against breeding and we board quite a few purebred show dogs, however I fully support adoptions. There are so many wonderful pets out there needing good homes. If you have the room in your family to love and care for a special pet, please consider adoptions.
