About Us

Since childhood I dreamed of owning a farm and growing my own food. After 20 years doing working as a professional in the corporate world I decided it was time to merge into the dream. I purchased the farm in 2005.

I love animals but I especially love dogs and they love me! I wanted to do something to earn extra income that I enjoyed. Something that would work in easily with my farm plan. I remember how difficult it was for me to board my dogs when I went on trips. Luckily I found a great place TWO HOURS away but it was worth the trip because I knew they would be happy and that they wouldn’t be locked up in a cold kennel run. When it came to my fur babies no expensive was spared for their well being and happiness.

I started with a few dogs and we’ve built a great customer base that just keeps growing. We have special facilities to accommodate dogs, however my goal was to create more of a home environment for them. You can read more about dog boarding in the dog boarding sections.

We built a large greenhouse and we are constantly evolving. Our plans are to grow natural produce and we hope to open our own market one day providing pesticide & chemical free produce. We also have long term plans in developing the farm (we have 30 acres!) into a small solar eco village. At this time we are selling a few acres ahead of time and its a great investment!

Dancing Creek Farm is located in Cascade, Virginia right outside of Danville and only a few miles from the

 

North Carolina state line. We have 30 beautiful acres with a nice creek and trails. We also take care of a few rescued animals we brought up from

Florida.
