Since childhood I dreamed of owning a farm and growing my own food. After 20 years doing working as a professional in the corporate world I decided it was time to merge into the dream. I purchased the farm in 2005.
I love animals but I especially love dogs and they love me! I wanted to do something to earn extra income that I enjoyed. Something that would work in easily with my farm plan. I remember how difficult it was for me to board my dogs when I went on trips. Luckily I found a great place TWO HOURS away but it was worth the trip because I knew they would be happy and that they wouldn’t be locked up in a cold kennel run. When it came to my fur babies no expensive was spared for their well being and happiness.
I started with a few dogs and we’ve built a great customer base that just keeps growing. We have special facilities to accommodate dogs, however my goal was to create more of a home environment for them. You can read more about dog boarding in the dog boarding sections. Dogs RULE here and are permitted to jump on furniture, watch TV or whatever else makes them happy. We are not your typical boarding facility. We arr a combination of in home pet sitting and a dog camp. We also specialize in long term boarding and have special discount available for military personal traveling overseas or on US business.
We built a large greenhouse and we are constantly evolving. Our plans are to grow natural produce and we hope to open our own market one day providing pesticide & chemical free produce. We also have long term plans in developing the farm (we have 30 acres!) expanding dog boarding into a doggie park, doggie camping and FUN! We hope to offer farm and garden workshop events.
We have several businesses on Dancing Creek Farm

Dancing Creek Farm is located in Cascade, Virginia right outside of Danville and only a few miles from North Carolina state line. We have 30 beautiful acres with a nice creek and trails. We also take care of a few rescued animals we brought up from Florida.
